This ginger vegetable soup is not only delicious but also extremely good for health, helping to dispel fatigue. Guaranteed success the first time!

Ingredients for ginger cabbage soup
For 3 – 4 people

Green cabbage 600 gr

Pork 300 gr

How to prepare Cauliflower soup with ginger

  • Raw preparation

    If you buy green mustard greens, cut off the roots and wash them briefly with water to remove sand and soil. To prevent the cabbage from becoming bitter when cooking soup, remove the innermost young leaves.

    Then, wash the cabbage thoroughly with water and cut it into bite-sized pieces, about 3 – 4 cm. You can cut it into smaller or larger pieces as you like.

    Peel fresh ginger, slice thinly and then cut into small pieces. This is an important ingredient that makes our ginger mustard soup more warm and delicious.

    The remaining green onions are used for seasoning, you can also cut them into small pieces.

  • Prepare the pork and marinate it with spices

    Cut the pork (lean) in half or into thirds if the meat is too large, then slice thinly into medium sized pieces eat.

    Cut a few small green onions to marinate with the meat.

    Marinate the meat with 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper and 2 teaspoons of fish sauce.

    Mix all the spices well with the meat, then let the meat rest for about 15 minutes to absorb evenly before cooking.

  • Stir-fry meat and cook ginger vegetable soup

    Place a medium pot on the stove, add a little cooking oil. Wait for the oil to heat up, then add the marinated meat and stir-fry until the meat is rare. Then, add about 1/3 liter of water into the pot. Heat over high heat so the water boils quickly.

    When the water boils, you will see many bubbles appear. Use a spoon to skim off this foam to make the soup clearer and more beautiful.

    Continue to cook this gravy for about 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, put all the chopped ginger into the pot, cook for about 2 more minutes so that the ginger releases its characteristic aroma.

    Add into the soup pot 1 tablespoon of seasoning powder, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar and a little salt (if you eat it lightly, you can omit this salt).

    Stir well so that the spices are completely dissolved. Finally, add all the prepared vegetables into the pot and mix well. Wait for the soup pot to boil again and the dish is completed.

  • Finished product

    Add a little chopped green onion and a little ground pepper to the soup pot to add flavor. Ladle the soup into a bowl, sprinkle a little pepper and green onions on top to make the dish look more beautiful.
